God Save Ireland is an Irish rebel song celebrating the 3 Manchester Martyrs who were executed in 1867.
The lyrics to God Save Ireland were written by Timothy Daniel Sullivan & first published on 7 December 1867, the day before the Martyrs' funeral.
Between 1867-1916 it was referred to as Ireland's national anthem before it was later replaced by The Soldier's Song. There have a been adaptions of God Save Ireland over the years most notably by composer Seán Ó Riada which is the version made famous by bands such as The Wolfe Tones.
In my design I have stuck with the more historical and original lyrics.

If you are living within the Occupied 6 Counties unfortunately you have to select 'UK' for shipping otherwise you'll be charged international shipping. Yes it sucks, but we can't change it sadly. Thanks in advance.
